The Kolkata Police Recruitment Board
has declared an advertisement about Kolkata Police Constable Recruitment 2015
for 1167 Vacancies of 1167 posts of Constable and Lady Constable on its
official website at www.kprb.kolkatapolice.gov.in. The Kolkata Police
Recruitment Board is calling up Online as well as Offline Application from
young, qualified and fit candidates for filling up 1167 vacant posts of
Constable and Lady Constable in Kolkata Police in 2015-16.
The interested and eligible
candidates can apply online or offline for KPRB Kolkata Police Constable
Recruitment 2015 by visiting the official website portal at
www.kprb.kolkatapolice.gov.in. The Kolkata Police will accept the Application
(both Online and Offline) up to 19 December 2015

Constable/ Lady Constable => Candidates should have passed 10th (Matriculation)/
Madhyamik exemption under WBBSE or other relevant passed certificates.
Age Limit=>
As on 1st January 2015,
the Age of the candidate must be in between 18 years and 27 years.

Categories will be given relaxation in Upper Age Limit according to Kolkata
Police and West Bengal Government Rules.

- Chest = 78-83 cms for male candidates
- Weight = proportion to height
Selection process=> Physical measurement test (PMT) and Physical Efficient test
(PET) + Written exam will conduct to final selection
Physical Measurement Test (PMT) =Applying candidates Height, chest will measurement to qualify for race.

Physical Efficiency Test (PET) = Race will conduct as following given
Constable =1600 metres run in 06 Minutes and 30 Seconds
Lady Constable = 400 Metres run to be conducted with 2 Minutes
Written test = PMT/PET passed candidates will eligible for written test which will conducted Objective type 90 Marks questions of General Knowledge, Current Affair, General English, Mathematics and Analytics in 60 Minutes.
Interview=> 10 marks interview will conduct and after Merit list will be prepared on basis of Total Marks.
Salary details=>
- Constable/ Lady Constable =Rs.5400 - 25200 (PB 2) + 2600 Grade pay per month
