Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) is an all India common engineering entrance examination which is conducted for admission in various engineering colleges and courses all over the country. JEE is conducted in two parts, JEE Mains and JEE Advanced. JEE-Advanced is for admission to Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), and Indian School of Mines Dhanbad, an institute that will be converted to IIT.

Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) main admit Card will be available to download from official webiste. The Admit Card can be downloaded from JEE (Main) website from 2nd week March 2016 onwards

The candidates are advised to download their admit cards from JEE (Main) website only. The Candidates are also advised to regularly see JEE (Main) website for updates. A call center will also be functional on all working days from 8.00 AM to 8.00 PM for general facilitation. The phone numbers of the call centre are available on the website of JEE (Main).

The JEE Main Admit Card is very important document for every applicant. It will enable candidates to appear in the examination hall as it will bear applicant Name, Roll Number, exam date and venue of examination. Without JEE Main Admit card 2016, Students will not be allowed to appear in the entrance test.

In Examination hall Use of electronic devices like mobile phone, calculator etc. is NOT PERMITTED in JEE (Main) – 2016, Materials like log table, book, notebook, etc. should NOT be brought to the Examination hall.
